    This pub is part of the Weatherspoons chain. It is a great pub for lots of reasons. It is large with a family dining area at the back (kids allowed until about 6.30pm I think). There is also a small outside seating area - very popular in the summer. The staff are helpful. As traditional with the weatherspoons chain the food and drink is unbeatable value. (i.e. roast dinner and drink around £5.50). There's no music allowed being a weatherspoons but there is always a good atmosphere in here and its always busy enough. The womens toilets are huge and have a nappy changer and a large settee so this is great for those breastfeeding or with small babies or toddlers. As said the pub is kiddy friendly up to the early evening and staff do not hassle you to move on the minute you've finished your meal. Fully recommend this pub
