• Bob Potts The Old Man !!!

  I remember Bob during the war when he had a shop on in the Normanton area before he moved to Babington Lane. I worked at Babington Motors at the time and Bob was a friend of Tom Everington my boss and I used to maintain Bob's car. I also remember Arthur and Connie who worked for Bob, it was always a pleasure to go in the shop and buy ex government tools etc. I also remember the son's when they were at school and now run the business .Bob would be very proud of them all . I thought it was wonderful how they got over the fire a few years ago and kept the business going . One last memory that I have is that Bob sold me my first Radio , a second hand Ultra for Five shillings. Very fond memories of Bob Potts. Albert Bennett

  God only knows how much stock they carry but they seem to stock most things most of the time. I am dropping in Monday to purchase a USB hub for my Potts supplied computer. 'nuff said!

  Forget Maplins, I've been using this shop since 1953 and they've got everything (almost anyway) and don't worry if your'e not sure what you want, the staff are very helpfull and knowledgable.

• customer satisfaction

  Tony , Bob , family and staff have carried on from where there father left off , nothing is too much trouble , when looking for spares or new components even the little things that the multiples cannot be bothered about are of importance as your custom is so appreciated , an A1 friendly retail shop who really do care about the clientel , best electronics shop in Derbyshire and far beyond.

  Brilliant Shop, Assistants know their stuff (even the ladies!) This is the place to go if you are unsure about which componant to install. Good advice is always at hand. I have no connection with the shop, just used it for years and always been satisfied

• Potts. A good bet they can help.

  Potts is a long established Derby Shop. One of those shops with lots of wooden drawers with thousands of items in them. The staff are very helpful, and if you are approached by a young female assistant, fear not, as she will know where everything is. From the older electronic components, domestic electrical parts and computer bits, it's well worth giving them a try. I have no conection with the shop only as a satisfied customer.
