Very good council leisure centre!
Although a bit on the small side, Springwood Leisure Centre is a very friendly centre that offers badminton, squash, table tennis, an air conditioned fitness suite and creche to mention a few. Springwood does not have a swimming pool, which is a shame. I use the gym there and it is very friendly and good value for money, not like some of the big private gym's. Staff there are approachable and easy to get on with. If you don't like spending £40+ per month on fancy gym memberships, save yourself half that by joining at Springwood. At the end of the day, exercise is exercise no matter how much you pay for it!
