A wonderful eatery and deli. The food is excellent, always fresh and presented very well. if there is no seating available, it is worth queuing! For my recent 'special' birthday, Fresh Basil supplied the most wonderful buffet of cold meats, local pork pies, cheese board and an amazing pavola. Everyone commented that it was the best they had ever had.

the best place for fresh food

fresh basil is the best place i have eaten in a long time. the staff are always friendly and helpful. i would recommend the place to everyone. go and give it a try for yourself.

Lovely

Another wonderful eaterie/restaurant in Belper. Pleasant surroundings, excellent standard of service and choice of food. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The deli displays a wonderful array of cold meats, cheeses, pies, bread, cakes and olives - sometimes the variety means making a choice is almost impossible! Wonderful xmas hampers and seasonal goods. My only criticism would be that the eaterie just isn't big enough! There are times my family and I have gone to eat there, only to find it is full! However, what better an advert for an eaterie than to find it is full and not empty!
