  • 10 Friendly - Sense of humour - great

    Having spent years staying in standardised group hotels where the staff, normally foreign, treat you as an intruder, how nice it is to find a 'real' hotel. Cheerful welcome, no insistance on seeing my credit card immediately I arrive, shown personally to my room set me up for a good stay. An excellent restaurant with friendly waiting staff and the next morning a freshly cooked breakfast and outside my car wash washed. Couldn't have been more enjoyable.
