Cool but understated
Santanda is more of a bar than a restaurant, although it does pub style meals. Santanda is right in the heart of the city centre overlooking Derby Market Place. It has a number of seats outside that are popular on Sunny days. During the evening, Santanda plays very loud drum and bass music, so this would not be ideal for a quiet drink. Santanda offers the usual pub drinks, ciders, lagers etc. The one selling point is the decor which is all leather loungers and settees - good for meeting up with friends during the day.Santanda is also open until two am so is useful in a place like Derby which is short on places to go late at night.
