Not impressed!!
Never tried Spanish Tapas before - so was quiet excited at the new dining experience I was about to embark on. So its a Monday evening - the restaurant isn't too busy and the interior was nicely done. Shame nothing else fitted the bill - the service was extremely slow! We ordered drinks and had to wait 20 minutes for them to arrive - luckly we were so involved with talking we let that one slide. We ordered one meat and one fish tapas from their tapas for a £10.00 menu. When they finally brought the dishes to the table - we couldn't hear the waitress when she told us what the dishes they where, the food wasn't hot - more a luke warm! Anyway - what food we tried was tasty, shame it wasn't hot (it might have been when it was cooked but by the time it took to get from the kitchen to the table it wasn't!). It was the same problem with the coffees and desserts, we eventually got the luke warm coffees and then had another 15 minute wait for the deserts!! As I said it wasn't busy (although upstairs was being used for a speed dating evening!). If you don't mind luke warm food and slow service then I would recommend La Tasca, but don't go if your in a rush!!

All this combines to create a great atmosphere, where you can relax and eat or drink as much as you like, from a selection of Tapas dishes to an authentic Paella. They also serve a selection of Spanish wines, sherry, beers and Sangria.
