• Good pub!

  This is a good pub, but it's a shame it's just out of the city centre. Drinks are averagely priced and the food seems pretty decent. Has recently been done up and looks pretty nice.

  In reply to the previous review, you do get a contract after 3 months service and the correct breaks are given but staff never get given shifts longer than 6 hours for which they are allowd a 45 min break with discounted staff meal. Holiday pay is accrued so tash did not qualify as she was not with the company long enough. staff are paid correctly for their age and tash left without notice and within her probationary period and did not return company property. She was not entitled to her final pay, however i believe she was paid and she arrainged for a friend to collect it. In addition this is a friendly warm welcoming gastro bar with sports bar facillities and a wide range of spirits and bottles.
