About Us

Brief description

Housed in a 19th century barn, this award winning museum tells the story of Kegworth from earliest times to the present day. Displays include a Victorian parlour, the story of two hundred years of the local knitting industry, the history of the village school from slates to computers and a saddler's workshop. Memorabilia of the Royal British Legion, reflecting the war service of local people, is also on show. Open by arrangement for groups.
